Our story began in 1956, when Alessio and Silvia Fabris took over a bar facing the Brenta canal in Mira. The horse chestnut trees beside it inspired its name: Castagnara.
In 1962 the business moved to its current home. From a bar to an osteria and trattoria, then a seafood restaurant: the same passion, passed down through generations.
Hospitality and cooking are the threads that unite the Fabris family. Livia, Riccardo and Lorena carried on their parents’ work, joined by Bruna in the kitchen and Nicola in the dining room.
Today, we welcome you to Mira, on the Brenta Riviera, to share seafood cooking and the simple pleasure of feeling at home around the table.
